Construx Co. served as the general contractor for the interior renovation of The Friendly Toast’s first Connecticut location, transforming a 6,403 sq ft space in the heart of West Hartford. Known for its eclectic decor and creative menu, the restaurant called for a bold and highly customized buildout to reflect its signature style. Starting with a full interior demolition, our team managed every phase of the renovation, including new framing and drywall, tilework, millwork, painting, lighting, and installation of interior glass elements. The result is a vibrant, dynamic dining space that brings The Friendly Toast’s colorful personality to life. This project highlights our ability to deliver distinctive, brand-forward environments that balance functionality with strong visual impact.
