Construx Co. served as the general contractor for the full interior renovation of Horton Electrical Services’ 3,386-square-foot office space in Canton. The goal was to modernize the environment while allowing Horton staff to remain operational throughout construction.
The project began with carefully phased selective demolition to ensure minimal disruption to the occupied space. Renovation scope included new drywall, custom millwork, painting, updated carpeting and laminate flooring, and the installation of full-height interior glass doors and walls to enhance natural light and maintain an open, modern aesthetic. The restrooms were also renovated with new tilework, and mechanical and plumbing systems were updated as part of the overall improvements.
Horton Electrical self-performed all electrical work, while Construx Co. managed and executed the remainder of the renovation. Close coordination, clear communication, and detailed planning allowed the project to move forward smoothly while accommodating the client’s day-to-day business operations.
The completed space offers a polished, professional atmosphere tailored to Horton’s evolving needs and long-term vision.
